Do stop by Diamond Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. While you're here at Diamond Lake it's a glorious idea to go to Dyer Amphitheater, and there's tremendous hiking along the Rich Creek - Buffalo Meadows Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things right next door to Diamond Lake. From Diamond Lake you acquire a tremendous view of Ball Mountain; the slopes of Copper Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist.
