Diamond Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid nearby hotel is Silver King Inn, and great skiing awaits you at Ski Cooper. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sawatch Range. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a magnificent location to spend a night or two; lakes are such peaceful places, why not explore Turquoise Lake. During the months of summer here at Diamond Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the

| | 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Diamond Lake.
A delightful place for whitewater paddling right next door to Diamond Lake is Arkansas River, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Main Range Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Home Lake is a glorious lake close to Diamond Lake. There's so much to do here at Diamond Lake that you need to camp here for
a while, Belle of Colorado Campground is a good location for that. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. Everybody loves Crane Park, and Gleason Gulch is a glorious spot to spend some time. It is very arid here
at Diamond Lake commonly; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
But wait, there's more to do near Diamond Lake. For you golfers we recommend nearby MT Massive Golf Course. Near
Diamond Lake you discover the Highline Trail which is a good hiking trail, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Copper Mountain. This place, Diamond Lake, it simply has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. In the
event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River; needless to say East Tennessee Creek is a charming stream that is worth going to.
