The beauty of Diamond Lake attracts many people from all around. A nice spot for whitewater paddling close to Diamond Lake is Arkansas River, and don't forget to take a fine little trip to East Tennessee Creek. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sawatch Range. Gleason Gulch is close to Diamond Lake and is a wonderful spot, and while you're here, you could also go to picturesque Island Lake. These mountains rock, just check

| | out all the fun stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. Home Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by; if you need a location to stay Silver King Inn is a splendid choice. If you like the outdoors, you'll like Diamond Lake. Go for a hike on the Highline Trail. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Arkansas River is a fine whitewater spot right next door to Diamond Lake, and there are great places to discover along the Main Range Trail. | |

Summertime highs at Diamond Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Diamond Lake. Super 8 Motel
- Leadville is a splendid location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Diamond Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sugar Loafin' RV/campground is a pleasant place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski!
Ski Cooper is a tremendous place to do that. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Diamond Lake has to offer, you can camp at Belle of Colorado Campground. The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful. Diamond Lake
gets very little precipitation; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. What would winter be without some skiing at Copper Mountain; if you're a golfer then a good close
by course is MT Massive Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. You ought to certainly dedicate some time to Crane Park while you're here at Diamond Lake, and don't leave Diamond Lake without first going for a hike along the Mount Massive Trail.
