Crane Park is a good site to check out, and you might also want to pay a visit to Gleason Gulch while you're here at Diamond Lake. Diamond Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Copper Mountain has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff. Diamond Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range. There are some great whitewater spots on Arkansas       River, and camping at Sugar Loafin' RV/campground is always a glorious experience. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Ski Cooper, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Main Range Trail. It is very arid here at Diamond Lake generally; through August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Through the warm months at Diamond Lake temperatures are mostly                  in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Diamond Lake. Hiking along the Mount Massive Trail is brilliant fun, and a round of golf at nearby MT Massive Golf Course is a splendid way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Highline Trail; a great nearby hotel is Silver King Inn. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Sawatch Range is excellent! There are other spots here than Diamond Lake, for example Home Lake; a quick journey to East Tennessee Creek is without doubt a magnificent idea. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Not far from Diamond Lake, you'll discover Island Lake which is a beautiful lake; there's whitewater on Arkansas River for all you thrill seekers.
