    Why not stop by Diamond Lake if you're passing through these parts. Around Diamond Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls during August; February meanwhile is the driest month. There is a perfect hiking trail right next door to Diamond Lake called the Diamond Lake Trail; Winter Park is a tremendous local ski area. So many exciting things to do here in the Front Range, too wonderful to be true. A great nearby hotel is Winterpark  
   Mountain Lodge; everybody close by loves skiing at Berthoud Pass.
Man, is there a load of exciting things to do in the Front Range. Going for a hike on the Devils Thumb Trail is always a fine adventure, and get soaked paddling on Boulder Creek. Drift down the rapids of Boulder Creek - South in a kayak. So many entertaining things to do at Diamond Lake, so little time. An interesting thing to take a look at close to Diamond Lake is Jasper Dam, and a wonderful
 
               place to camp here at Diamond Lake is Fourth of July Campground.
Summertime highs at Diamond Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's while Diamond Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Buckingham Campground since you're here at Diamond Lake, and if the weather is wonderful, you obtain a brilliant panorama of North Arapaho Peak from Diamond Lake. Diamond Lake is a beautiful lake in the Front Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Jasper Lake is near Diamond Lake; don't leave Diamond Lake without first checking out Arapaho Glacier. After a long day outdoors Beaver Village Condominiums is a splendid spot to spend a night or two, and there are good locations to explore along the Chittenden Mountain Trail.
