After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Central is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and there are some good whitewater spots on South Platte River. Lakes are tremendous; Dewey Reservoir Number 1 is a lake that's close to Dewey Lake; a magnificent location to camp here at Dewey Lake is The Prospect RV Park. Dewey Lake truly is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. Why not spend some time golfing       at a nearby golf course like Park Hill Golf Club; you can take a little journey to Copeland Dam since you're here at Dewey Lake. People from Denver-Aurora love to come to Dewey Lake. Not much rain falls here at Dewey Lake; most of the rain falls during May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Little Dry Creek is a good place to explore, and camping at Delux RV Park is always a tremendous experience.                  Not far from Dewey Lake, you'll stumble on Copeland Lake which is a pretty lake; Super 8 Motel - Denver/I-25 & 58Th Ave. is a great location to get some rest. Through the warm months at Dewey Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
