City is a tremendous choice. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because St Andrews Golf Course is close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Deweese-Dye Reservoir is a place with many visitors from Canon City, and if
you came to camp Eberling Mobile Home and RV Park is a glorious location to do that. If the weather is good here at Deweese-Dye Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Lake of the Clouds Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and
hit Arkansas River. The warmest time of the year at Deweese-Dye Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's,
and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Deweese-Dye Reservoir sink into the 0's. Deweese-Dye Reservoir is pretty dried out generally; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.

South Crestone Lake
 | 16 miles away Trail is awful, disappearing and reappearing every now and again. Thorn bushes and trash cover what little trail is easy to navigate. Trail disappears completely before you actually reach the lake. Also it appears that an axe murderer has taken up residence in the upperwoods. Be careful and travel in large groups if you plan to try and make it to the lake. It is easy to get lost so mark your trail well.... |
