At Devils Thumb Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This location, the Front Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff. The King Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and the scenery at Jasper Dam is pretty. Beaver Village Condominiums is a pleasant place to get some rest, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Berthoud Pass. Throughout the long summer days at Devils Thumb Lake highs are commonly
in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Devils Thumb Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. And if that's
not enough, there's a heap more to do in the neighborhood of Devils Thumb Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder Creek, and Devils Thumb Lake is a good place to camp, Fourth of July Campground is a good place.
Don't leave
Devils Thumb Lake without first going for a hike along the Devils Thumb Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Iron Horse Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Winter Park nearby; not far from Devils Thumb Lake you'll
come across Betty Lake which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Devils Thumb Lake, checking out Devils Thumb is a must, and there's wonderful hiking along the Diamond Lake Trail.
