High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Devils Thumb Lake. Having a perfect time at Devils Thumb Lake is simple. You get a splendid sight of Mount Jasper from Devils Thumb Lake. A nice close by hotel is Zephyr Mountain Lodge, and there is a perfect hiking trail       close by called the King Lake Trail. There's whitewater on Boulder Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and the Diamond Lake Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Berthoud Pass is one of those things you just should do. There's so much to do here at Devils Thumb Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Buckingham Campground is a fine spot for that. All the outdoors exciting stuff near Devils Thumb Lake will                  keep you coming back repeatedly. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Devils Thumb Lake has to offer, you can camp at Fourth of July Campground; obviously, A spree to Devils Thumb Pass is always fun. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Beaver Village Condominiums is a perfect choice, and get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Clear Creek - West Fork. And that's not all there is to do here in the Front Range. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Winter Park if you're here; on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Devils Thumb Trail. Devils Thumb Lake is located in the Front Range. Just can't get enough of the Front Range. Interesting geology is available here; Devils Thumb is in close proximity to Devils Thumb Lake, and a striking lake like Upper Storm Lake is a glorious site to visit. There's some exciting stuff to observe at Jasper Dam in close proximity to Devils Thumb Lake, and lakes are such serene spots, why not check out Storm Lake.
