Camping is available at Denver Meadows Mobile Park; Buffalo Run Golf Course is a good golf course close by. Derby Lake gets very       little precipitation; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January. If you need a location to stay The Timbers All Suite Hotel is a perfect choice; this is a popular place for people from Denver-Aurora. Summertime highs at Derby Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's.
