The top of Darley Mountain is easily seen from Denver Lake, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Ouray is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. You're possibly hooked on lakes, American Lake is one of those close by; Denver Lake is close to California Gulch which is beyond doubt worth going to. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, too delightful to be true. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but

If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Denver Lake. Going for a hike on the Horsethief Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and there's whitewater on Henson Creek for all you thrill seekers. the outdoors. If you came to camp Ridgeway is a nice place to do that, and hey, Burrows Creek is a good local stream. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Denver Lake. A good close by hotel is St.Elmo
Hotel. Silverton is a pleasant local ski area. Lakes are perfect; Parson Lake is a lake that's near Denver Lake. Denver Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Timber Ridge Motel and Campground is a splendid local
campground, and everybody close by loves skiing at Kendall Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant trip to Hurricane Basin is a great way to spend an afternoon, and the Ridge Stock Driveway is a perfect hiking trail nearby.
For the duration of the summer months highs here at Denver Lake get into the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Denver
Lake are in the 10's. Denver Lake is pretty dehydrated frequently; August is the month that gets the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
