Denny Lake is a nice lake to visit. On a great day at Denny Lake you can take a hike along the Frink Trail. Denny Lake Dam is not far at all from Denny Lake, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Upper Navajo Canyon Trail. After a long day outdoors Cortez-Days Inn is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and enjoy a round of golf at Cortez City Government Conquistador Golf Course.

There's so much to do here at Denny Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cortez Mesa Verde KOA is a perfect place for that, and a glorious nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Cortez, Co.
