This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Deluge Lake, for example Gore Lake. There's so much to do here at Deluge Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Black Lakes Campground is a brilliant location for that. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the Park Range. If you're dropping by Deluge Lake from Silverthorne, you won't be the only one; hiking is a popular       thing to do around Deluge Lake; Deluge Lake Trail is a good local trail. Days Inn Silverthorne is a fine place to get some rest; get drenched paddling on Blue River. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Deluge Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's; the overnight is a tad chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Deluge Lake tend to be in the 0's. The skiing                  at Vail is great. Not much rain falls here at Deluge Lake; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. The Slate Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Arkansas River. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Park Range. Not far from Deluge Lake, you'll hit upon Snow Lake which is a delightful lake; Deluge Lake is right by the Wheeler Dillion Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Copper Mountain is in close proximity to Deluge Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Deluge Lake has to offer, you can camp at Gore Creek Campground. This location is unbeatable, just check out all the cool things to do near Deluge Lake.
