If you came for an overnight stay Delta/Grand Mesa KOA is a fine spot to camp; you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Delta Control Reservoir is one of those nearby. Just can't get enough of Delta Reservoir. Playing golf is lots of fun at Devil's Thumb Golf Club; needless to say, this is a delightful neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Lewis Reservoir is a lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. | | rest, and Delta Control Dam is a picturesque location, definitely worth going to. A magnificent nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Delta. It is very dried out here at Delta Reservoir typically; the wettest month of the year is mostly October, that's the one that rains the most, and January on the other hand is the driest. be without attention-grabbing close by traits like Devils Thumb. This lake is so wonderful. The Point Trail is a good hiking trail near Delta Reservoir, and camping is available at Riverwood Inn & Recreational Vehicle Park. If
you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gunnison River; why not head up to Powderhorn and strap some skis to your feet. At Delta Reservoir during the months of summer highs are in the
90's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Delta Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Kannah Creek is a brilliant whitewater
spot in the vicinity of Delta Reservoir, and going for a hike on the Bull and Brown Trail is always a good adventure.
