Deer Reservoir gets very little rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A perfect location next to Deer Reservoir is Antelope Draw, and there's some flowing water close by, Burdett Creek is a stream you can visit while here. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Jones Hole Trail; Yampa       River is a fine whitewater spot close by. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading. A short trip to Marthas Spring is always worthwhile; after a long day outdoors Terrace Motel is a good site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant tour to Marthas Hole is a great way to spend an afternoon. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Hoy Trail is perfect fun, and dry warm beds await you at Hi Vu Motel. For the period of the summer at Deer Reservoir highs are commonly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's.
