Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Deer Reservoir is one of them. A great nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Downtown, and a spree to Marthas Spring will fill your soul with brilliant feelings. A lake close by is Red Rock Reservoir, and Marthas Hole is a perfect place to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Jones Hole Creek is a great whitewater spot near Deer Reservoir, and Burdett Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at.

| | lake is so wonderful. Deer Reservoir is right by the Daniels Trail; you could always explore Antelope Draw. Hiking along the Hoy Trail is glorious fun. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Deer Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Through the winter highs are generally in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Deer Reservoir.

Deer Reservoir is generally a quite dry site; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January. If you need a location to stay Blue Mountain Inn and Suites is a great choice, and the
top of Marthas Peak is easily observed from Deer Reservoir.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Jones Hole Trail, and a glorious site for whitewater paddling is Yampa River.
