Deer Lake is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail; camping is available at Creedmore Lakes Campground. It is very arid here at Deer Lake ordinarily; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Cache La Poudre River,       and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Fox Acres Country Club is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Columbine Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and after a long day outdoors Estes Park Condos is a splendid site to spend a night or two. Having a delightful time in the Medicine Bow Mountains is trouble-free. You could also go to Apache Lake while you're here at Deer Lake; it's close by, and a tremendous site                  to camp here at Deer Lake is Lost Lake Campground. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Killpecker Trail, and the summit of Many Thunders Mountain can be made out from Deer Lake. Summertime highs at Deer Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Deer Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Deer Lake Dam while you're here at Deer Lake. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Deer Lake, too fine to be true.
