Have a good hiking adventure along the Oyster Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Colorado River. This lake is so wonderful. Rodeway Inn Glenwood Springs is a good site to get some rest, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Fayville Trail. All through the months of summer here at       Deer Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's, and the night is a tad cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Deer Lake. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time.
