You can never get enough of the great skiing at Powderhorn; Kannah Creek is a glorious whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Deep Slough Reservoir all through the warm months are in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. All through the winter highs are       commonly in the 30's with temperatures at Deep Slough Reservoir dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area right next door to Deep Slough Reservoir has to offer. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Delta is a fine place to spend a night or two, and you'll find a beautiful lake called Greenwood Reservoir. There is a perfect hiking trail in the vicinity of Deep Slough Reservoir                  called the High Trail, and Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a delightful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little spree to Deep Slough Dam while you're here at Deep Slough Reservoir, and the Cottonwood Lakes Foot Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. Deep Slough Reservoir is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Little Bear Campground is a nice place to camp nearby, and going for a hike on the Crag Crest Trail is always a good adventure.
