It's always fun to stop by Deep Lake. Heart Lake Dam is not far at all from Deep Lake, and while you're here, you could check out White Owl Creek. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Deep Lake has to offer, you can camp at Deep Lake Campground, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Oyster Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Deep Lake you can take a hike along the Fayville Trail, and Rodeway Inn Glenwood Springs is a magnificent site to get some rest. Inn And Suites is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. Deep Lake gets very little precipitation; October is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture.
