You'll need more than a day to look at everything Deep Lake has to offer, you can camp at Deep Lake Campground; there's always Heart Lake Dam to pop by near Deep Lake. If you like skiing, you're                  in luck; Sunlight Mountain is right next door to Deep Lake, and do take a hike on the Oyster Lake Trail. Deep Lake is frequently a reasonably dried out place; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Heart Lake Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Antlers. This lake is so wonderful.
