Deep Lake is a good site to camp, Bucks Campground is a good site; Deep Lake is right by the Oyster Lake Trail. At Deep Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the snow is March, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Deep Lake is great fun, Himes Peak Campground is a great local campground, and Lost Lakes Peaks can be spotted from Deep Lake. At Deep Lake during       the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; night lows at Deep Lake through the winter commonly fall into the 0's. You can run the rapids of White River - North Fork near Deep Lake; hiking along the South Derby Trail is wonderful fun. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff close to Deep Lake. A gorgeous lake like Dines Lake close to Deep Lake is a splendid                  site to pop by.
