The view of striking Mount Epworth near Deadman Lake is good; you can go for a hike on the King Lake Trail. Beaver Village Condominiums is a good location to get some rest, and the skiing at Winter Park is glorious. After a long day outdoors Iron Horse Resort is a great spot to spend a night or two; close by you stumble on the South Boulder Creek Trail which is a nice hiking trail.       Deadman Lake is pretty waterless commonly; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Boulder Creek, needless to say you could also have a look at Arapaho Lakes since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Berthoud Pass. There's so much to do here at Deadman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Midland Campground is a nice                  site for that. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Riflesight Notch if you're here at Deadman Lake, and paddling on Clear Creek - West Fork is so much fun. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Deadman Lake rules! If you came to camp Fourth of July Campground is a magnificent site to do that; going for a hike on the Devils Thumb Trail is always a delightful adventure. Throughout the long summer days, highs generally are in the 70's at Deadman Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's.
