At Dead Doe Reservoir through the summertime months highs are in the 90's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dead Doe Reservoir       are in the 10's. Soar down the rapids of Dolores River in a kayak, and if you need a place to stay Dunton Hot Springs is a brilliant choice. Dead Doe Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, The Forks Campground is a nice local campground, and Lone Mesa is beautiful and can be distinguished from here. At Dead Doe Reservoir you don’t see much rain; October is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is June. This lake is                  so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Dead Doe Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Emerson Campground is a glorious site for that, and there's tremendous hiking along the McPhee Stock Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Dead Doe Reservoir.
