This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. Dry warm beds await you at Arrowhead Village, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Dead Buck Reservoir; Cache Creek Access Trail is a glorious local trail. Not far from Dead Buck Reservoir you obtain some great water scenery at June Creek Dam, and Vail is a tremendous local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. June Creek is a splendid       spot to have a look at; if you need a place to stay Inn And Suites At Riverwalk is a nice choice. Good hiking is available along the Rock Creek Trail, and you can stay the night at Fulford Cave Campground. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Do go to East Beard Reservoir in the vicinity of Dead Buck Reservoir, it's a delightful lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Eagle River. Summer at                  Dead Buck Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Dead Buck Reservoir dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Dead Buck Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Red Canyon Stock Driveway, and if you come at the right time of year, Eagle River offers some good whitewater. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Park Range. You're sure to encounter some cheerful folks from Edwards here; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Beaver Creek is pretty near. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is plentiful here in the Park Range. Sonnenalp Golf Club is a golf course right next door to Dead Buck Reservoir, and Piney Crossing Campground is a great campground here. Dead Buck Reservoir gets very little rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest.
