If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Park Range. Beaver Creek Campground is a fine campground here; do take a hike on the Muddy Keyser Trail. The Sulfur Trail offers hiking at its best; during your tour here you'll meet some people from Silverthorne for sure. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Littletree Inn, and why not head up to SolVista and strap some skis to your feet. You'll       truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Park Range. De Koevend Lake is right by the Horseshoe Sulfur Trail, and there's whitewater on Colorado River for all you adrenaline kick people. After a long day outdoors Silvercreek Lodging is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and getting to Cub Creek from De Koevend Lake is simple. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. Not much precipitation falls here at De Koevend                  Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is nice at Berthoud Pass. Summertime highs at De Koevend Lake typically tend to be in the 80's, and the night is somewhat chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at De Koevend Lake drop into the-10's. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to De Koevend Lake.
