A visit to De Koevend Lake is always a good idea. De Koevend Lake is pretty dried up frequently; during August this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Cub Creek; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Sulfur Trail. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at De Koevend Lake get into the 80's. Throughout

High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for De Koevend Lake tend to be in the-10's. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. The slopes of SolVista are so inviting nobody can resist; nearby you stumble on the Muddy Keyser Trail which is a glorious hiking trail.

just extraordinary. The Horseshoe Sulfur Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close to De Koevend Lake. There's so much to do here at De Koevend Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Creek Campground is a great place
for that. Glide down the rapids of Colorado River in a kayak, and what would winter be without some skiing at Berthoud Pass. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Park Range. There are other places here than De Koevend
Lake, for example Sylvan Reservoir, and get dripping wet paddling on Williams Fork.
De Koevend Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Gilbert Campground is a wonderful local campground, and if you need a site to
stay The Inn at Silver Creek is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. De Koevend Lake is not far at all from Silverthorne, and dry warm beds await you at Mountainside at SilverCreek by Resort Management Group.
