The Crag Crest Trail offers hiking at its best; pretty scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Powderhorn. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Why not camp at Weir and Johnson Campground since you're here at Dawson Reservoir. Lakes? Sure, Anderson Reservoir is in the neighborhood. For the duration of the months of       summer highs here at Dawson Reservoir get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows at Dawson Reservoir throughout the wintertime usually dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Dawson Reservoir is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; during March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is June. Anderson Reservoir is a perfect lake in the neighborhood of Dawson Reservoir;                  Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a fine place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A good site to camp here at Dawson Reservoir is Twin Lake Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Dawson Reservoir; Lily Lake Trail is a nice local trail.
