You can take a little visit to Akers and Tarr Dam since you're here at Davis Reservoir; whitewater paddling is magnificent on South Platte River. If you need a spot to stay Value Place Firestone is a tremendous choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Johnson's Corner Campground is a fine place to camp. | | the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Davis Reservoir temperatures drop to the 10's. Davis Reservoir is a location that is relatively dehydrated frequently; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
