You'll need more than a day to discover everything Darling Lake has to offer, you can camp at Antone Spring Campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Darling Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Iron Spring Campground is a perfect spot for that; if you get bored of Darling       Lake you could also go to nearby Big Red Reservoir. Just can't get enough of the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Darling Lake is not the only place close by, Little Red Reservoir is a close by lake, and Box Spring is always fun to check out. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are really abundant here at Darling Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend San Miguel River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the                  Pool Creek Trail. Darling Lake is located in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Here at Darling Lake there are plenty of people from Montrose, and a fine close by hotel is Southgate Inns. Darling Lake is right by the Cottonwood Trail, and Reade Hill is clearly visible from Darling Lake.
