An interesting thing to check out close to Daigre Reservoir is Daigre Dam, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Rambler is a great place to spend a night or two. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Go for a hike on the Black Hills Trail, and camping is available at Bearadise Cabins and RV Park. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A pretty lake       like Wahatoya Lake Reservoir near Daigre Reservoir is a great site to visit; don't leave Daigre Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Wahatoya Trail. You simply have to explore Pinon Hill since you're here at Daigre Reservoir, and wonderful hiking is available along the Wade Trail. Daigre Reservoir is a location that is rather dehydrated ordinarily; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. For                  the period of the days of summer at Daigre Reservoir highs are frequently in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's while Daigre Reservoir nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Do visit La Veta Lake North Reservoir close to Daigre Reservoir, it's a lovely lake, and a golf course nearby is Grandote Peaks Golf Course. Yeah, come up here to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains for a glorious time. Knights Inn Walsenburg is a magnificent site to get some rest; why not check out close by Middle Creek if you're here at Daigre Reservoir. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
