The beauty of Cushman Lake is reason enough to stop by. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Cushman Lake rules! After a long day outdoors Bear Creek Lodge at Mtn. Vlg. is a good place to spend a night or two, and Riverwood Inn and RV Park is a fine campground here. All year is a nice time in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. Visit Gold Creek while you're here at Cushman Lake, and the panorama of Turkey Creek Mesa is charming.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Sheep Trail is brilliant fun, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Mineral Creek - South.
It is very dehydrated here at Cushman Lake commonly; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is June. You can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Silverton. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.

never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Telluride since you're here; going for a hike along the Lizard Head Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the
Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Fairmont Franz Klammer Lodge is a brilliant place to get some rest, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Deep Creek Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Sunshine Campground is a good
place to camp, and there's always Cushman Dam to take a look at near Cushman Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Telluride Ski & Golf Club is nearby, and if you don't mind getting
covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Miguel River. High temperatures at Cushman Lake throughout the summer months are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's while Cushman Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's.
