If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Cushman Lake. So many amusing things to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, not enough time. Lakes are tremendous; Alta Lakes is a lake that's next to Cushman Lake; going for a hike on the Lizard Head Trail is always a nice adventure. After a long day outdoors Mountain Lodge At Telluride is a perfect site to spend a night or two, and fine skiing awaits you at Telluride. Get yourself into a kayak

Summer at Cushman Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Cushman Lake. have to go far from Cushman Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Cushman Dam, and Sunshine Campground is a magnificent local campground.
Not much rain falls here at Cushman Lake; of all the months in a year July is the one
with the most rain while June is frequently the driest month. The Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Cushman Lake truly is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. At Cushman Lake you can see Turkey
Creek Mesa, and if you come at the right time of year, Mineral Creek - South offers some brilliant whitewater.
This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Telluride Ski & Golf Club is in the
vicinity; you can go for a hike on the Deep Creek Trail. This place, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Take a side visit to Gold Creek, and Riverwood Inn and RV Park is a brilliant campground
nearby. A tremendous close by hotel is Capella Telluride, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Sheep Trail.
