Many people like to go to Curtis Lake. So many exciting things in the Front Range, just remarkable. Curtis Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Fort Collins KOA is a good local campground, and nice hiking is available along the Jug Trail. A great nearby hotel is Budget Host Inn Fort Collins, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Cache La Poudre River. Having a magnificent time at Curtis Lake is painless.

| | People from Fort Collins-Loveland love to come to Curtis Lake, and Curtis Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out.
Go for a hike on the Wintersteen Trail, and Fort Collins Country Club Golf is a golf course close by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Front Range. After a long day outdoors The Armstrong Hotel is a pleasant location to
spend a night or two, and if you get bored of Curtis Lake you could also take a look at nearby Curtis Lake Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Heron Lake RV Park is always a perfect experience. This lake is so wonderful.
Don't leave Curtis Lake without first going for a hike along the Greyrock Trail; there's whitewater on Cache La Poudre River - North Fork for all you adrenaline junkies.
It is very dried up here at Curtis Lake typically; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and December is when it's the driest.
