Curtis Lake is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Fort Collins KOA is a perfect spot to camp nearby, and a fine close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn - Fort Collins. Rocky Mountain National Park is a good local destination here at Curtis Lake, and there are plenty of folks from Fort Collins-Loveland here at Curtis Lake. The scenery at Curtis Lake       Dam next to Curtis Lake is delightful. Curtis Lake is mostly a rather waterless location; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is December. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Front Range is so good! Budget Host Inn Fort Collins is a magnificent location to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Wintersteen Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Heron                  Lake RV Park, and don't leave Curtis Lake without first going for a hike along the Jug Trail. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Cache La Poudre River. Lakes? Sure, Curtis Lake Reservoir is around here. Curtis Lake is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. This place is so good, just look at all the cool stuff to do near Curtis Lake. A tremendous location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Curtis Lake is Cache La Poudre River - North Fork; there are other spots here than Curtis Lake, for example Gilmore Lake. All through the summer here at Curtis Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Curtis Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
