The beauty of Curtain Ponds attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Breckenridge is near Curtain Ponds, and there's magnificent hiking along the Miners Creek Trail. West Tenmile Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and the snow is great at Copper Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. You get a delightful panorama of Tenmile Peak from Curtain Ponds; the Wheeler Dillion Trail offers hiking at its best. Paddling on Arkansas River is so much fun, and a tremendous place like Wheeler Flats here at Curtain Ponds is too good to miss. Dry warm beds await you at Copper Mountain Resort, and don't leave Curtain Ponds without first going for a hike along the Wheeler Trail.

there's heaps more to do right next door to Curtain Ponds. Camping is available at Gold Pan Campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Officers Gulch Pond. Curtain Ponds is pretty
