This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant spree to Wheeler Flats is a perfect way to spend an afternoon, and Breckenridge is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. Just can't get enough of Curtain Ponds. Looking for some flowing water? Try West Tenmile Creek; going for a hike along the Wheeler Dillion Trail will let you absorb the       natural beauty of this region. A good place to stop at near Curtain Ponds is McKenzie Gulch, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Tenmile Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Curtain Ponds is right by the Wheeler Trail; the panorama of wonderful Tenmile Peak is good. At Curtain Ponds you don’t see much rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Hiking along the Miners Creek Trail is delightful fun;                  there are some great whitewater spots on Arkansas River. If you need a place to stay Ramada Limited Frisco is a pleasant choice, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Silverthorne. But wait, there's more to do near Curtain Ponds. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Curtain Ponds reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's.
