Curr Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. This is a splendid vicinity for folks who like lakes. Big Stratton Reservoir is a lake nearby, and if you need a place to stay Cheyenne Canon Inn is a great choice. After a long day outdoors Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and golf can be played at Vineyard Golf Club. Stay the night at Golden Eagle Ranch RV Park, and Curr Reservoir is a place with many visitors from Colorado Springs.

| | Curr Dam is stunning and it's near Curr Reservoir, and going for a hike along the Indian Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Through the warm days of summer at Curr Reservoir highs are usually in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Curr Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. You'll need more than a day to explore | |

This lake is so wonderful. Cheyenne Creek is a stream that you may run into while here. This lake
is so wonderful. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Palmer Trail, and stopping by Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Curr Reservoir gets very little precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain while January is regularly the driest month.
