Lakes? Sure, Kenny Moore Reservoir is close by, and a delightful location to stop at close by is Grays Gulch. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Oh Be Joyful Creek, and the Granite Basin Trail offers hiking at its best. Cunningham Lake is mostly a quite dry place;       the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Cunningham Lake has it all. Good hiking is available along the Lowline Trail; you can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Irwin Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Mesa RV Resort is a wonderful site to do that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Cunningham                  Reservoir. There's tremendous hiking along the Mill-Castle Trail; if you need a site to stay Rodeway Inn Gunnison is a wonderful choice. For the period of the long summer days, highs typically are in the 70's at Cunningham Lake. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Cunningham Lake. Little Mill Creek is a stream that you may run into while you're here.
