If you're a golfer then a splendid nearby course is Ute Creek Golf Course, and Culver Reservoir is not the only place close by, Bellmire Reservoir is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here at Culver Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Round Mountain Trail.                  There's so much to do here at Culver Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Carter Valley Campgrounds is a magnificent site for that. This lake is so wonderful. At Culver Reservoir you always meet someone from Boulder, and the Jug Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. Hawthorn Suites - Longmont/Boulder, Co is a splendid spot to get some rest; get yourself into a kayak and hit Saint Vrain Creek - North. It is very dried out here at Culver Reservoir ordinarily; throughout May this area sees the most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. Culver Dam is not far at all from Culver Reservoir; nearby you discover the Saddle Rock Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
