of Cub Lake is Chaos Canyon, and do take a hike on the Loch Vale Trail. The peak of Beaver Mountain can be spotted from Cub Lake, and Cub Lake is right by the Glacier Creek Trail. You have to positively dedicate some time to Mill
Creek Basin while you're here at Cub Lake, and Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a good site to get some rest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. Cub Lake gets very little rain; the month of August is the wettest
with most of the rain, and November is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Fern Falls is a great local attraction; there's whitewater on Cache La Poudre River for all you adrenaline people. Now, you may
imagine that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Cub Lake. Cub Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Glacier Basin Campground is a great site to camp nearby, and there's some flowing water nearby,
Spruce Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Joe Wright Creek.
