If you like skiing, you're in luck; Silverton is in the neighborhood of Crystal Lake; one of the principal marks of the surroundings of Crystal Lake is Lookout Peak. If you came to camp Molas Lake Park is a perfect spot to do that, and Lime Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Crystal Lake. The Ice House Lodge is a great place to get some rest, and the snow is wonderful

| | at Telluride. Through the summertime months at Crystal Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Crystal Lake. Paradise Basin is a delightful site; delightful hiking is available along the Highline Trail. Crystal Lake is close to Chapman Gulch which is definitely worth taking a look | |

at, and while you're here you can play some golf at Telluride Ski & Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Hotel Columbia; a lake close by is Columbine Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location.
There's so much to do here at Crystal Lake that you need to camp here for a while, South Mineral Campground is a great place for that, and you can go for a hike on the Brooklyn Trail. If you're interested in hydro structures, you
can have a look at Bridal Veil Dam, of course you could also take a look at Clear Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling near Crystal Lake is Mineral
Creek - South, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Crystal Lake; Greyhound Pack Trail is a good local trail. It is very dehydrated here at Crystal Lake frequently; July is the wettest month with most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture.
