At Crystal Lake you can catch a glimpse of Table Mountain, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Long Ridge Stock Driveway. Summertime at Crystal Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Crystal Lake dipping       down into the-10's through winter nights. These mountains rock, just explore all the cool stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. You'll find a beautiful lake called Meadow Reservoir near Crystal Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Allington Inn and Suites. Crystal Lake is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Antlers Rio Grande Lodge is a tremendous local campground, and there's whitewater on Rio Grande for all you adrenaline rush                  seekers. Crystal Lake gets very little rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You clearly have to love the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Crystal Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Broadacres Traveling Teepee is a good place to camp nearby; going for a hike along the McKenzie Stock Driveway will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
