If you are traveling by, why not stop by Crystal Lake. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Front Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Payne Creek Trail; a good close by hotel is Quality Suites Evergreen. Co is a good place to spend a night or two. That right there is heaps of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. Since you're here at Crystal Lake why not stop by Buck Gulch; hiking is a popular thing to
do around Crystal Lake; Rolling Creek Trail is a pleasant local trail.
This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on South Platte River - North Fork, and there are other locations here
than Crystal Lake, for example Baehr Reservoir. The Pine Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you came for an overnight stay Buffalo Creek Campground is a great location to camp.
Summer at Crystal Lake arrives with high
temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Crystal Lake all through the winter mostly sink into the 0's.
