There's so much to do here at Crystal Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Buffalo Creek Campground is a magnificent spot for that, and there are delightful places to discover along the Rolling Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Elk Creek if you're here at Crystal Lake, unsurprisingly you could also take a look at Baehr Reservoir while you're here; it's not far       at all. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Front Range has to offer. If you're here, you might as well take a look at Buck Gulch, and there's glorious hiking along the Payne Creek Trail. Crystal Lake Dam is not far at all from Crystal Lake, and don't leave Crystal Lake without first going for a hike along the Pine Ridge Trail.
