What a nice lake Crystal Lake is. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Henson Creek; Crystal Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Mill Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. It's always good to visit Treasure Falls, and going for a hike on the Big Blue Trail is always a delightful adventure.

| | paddling spot close by, and Sugarloaf Rock is a great location to go to while in the vicinity. Crystal Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan Mountains. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Juan Mountains. Looking for some flowing water? Try Crystal Creek; a brilliant site nearby is Alpine Gulch.

folks. There's so much to do here at Crystal Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake City Campground is a good place for that, and nearby you stumble on the Ridge Stock Driveway which is a wonderful hiking trail.
