    If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Crystal Lake. The Ridge Stock Driveway is a splendid hiking trail near Crystal Lake. And if that's not enough there's loads more entertaining stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Crystal Creek is a fine spot to check out, and Sugarloaf Rock is an out of the ordinary place to take a look at while at Crystal Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Crystal Lake is not the only site close by, Larson  
   Lakes is a close by lake; there's whitewater on Lake Fork Gunnison River for all you thrill seekers.
This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Crystal Lake gets very little rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while June is commonly the driest month. Stay the night at Lake City Campground; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Henson Creek.
Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more
 
               amusing stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There is a great hiking trail near Crystal Lake called the Big Blue Trail, and Crystal Peak is clearly visible from Crystal Lake. High temperatures at Crystal Lake during the summertime are in the 70's while night lows are typically in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Crystal Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Crystal Lake. Going for a hike on the Fall Creek Trail is always a perfect adventure; if you yearn for a little side spree, try Alpine Gulch.
If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Ouray is a magnificent choice, and a lake close by is Hay Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Treasure Falls is a beautiful site to visit while you're at Crystal Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Crystal Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mill Creek Campground.
