Crystal Lake is mostly a rather dried up place; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. The sights at Rocky Mountain National Park will blow your mind; this is a popular site for folks from Boulder. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to       Crystal Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Crystal Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Crystal Lake; Saddle Rock Trail is a splendid local trail, and Mullen Park is a gorgeous location any time of year. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Crystal Lake without first going for a hike along the Round Mountain Trail; after a                  long day outdoors Super 8 Longmont/Twin Peaks is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. Crystal Dam is a gorgeous place next to Crystal Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Niwot Inn is a great choice. But wait, there's more to do close to Crystal Lake. While you're here at Crystal Lake, you could also stop at beautiful Bellmire Reservoir; if you came to camp Parrish Ranch Recreational Vehicle Resort & Evnt is a perfect spot to do that. This place, Crystal Lake, it just has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Near Crystal Lake you locate a golf course called Ute Creek Golf Course, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Saint Vrain Creek - North.
