You're possibly into lakes, Kelly Reservoir is one of those nearby; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Morrison Divide Trail. You can never get enough of the great skiing       at Steamboat, and Channing Creek is in the vicinity of Crowner Reservoir and is always a delight to explore. Through the months of summer here at Crowner Reservoir, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Crowner Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Why not camp at Toponas Creek Campground                  since you're here at Crowner Reservoir. Get soaked paddling on Rock Creek, and Crowner Dam has fine water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. Really perfect skiing awaits you at Howelsen Hill; hiking along the Muddy Slide Trail is great fun. Crowner Reservoir is a location that is pretty dry frequently; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month is June. If you love the outdoors, you'll go for Crowner Reservoir.
