If you need a location to stay Echo Basin Dude And Guest Ranch, LLC is a tremendous choice, and if you came for an overnight stay West Dolores Campground is a glorious site to camp. Cresto Reservoir is a location that is quite waterless mostly; the month with most of the rain is March, and June is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The vista of Nipple Mountain from Cresto Reservoir is gorgeous, and if you come at the right time of year, Dolores River

| | offers some delightful whitewater. If you get bored of Cresto Reservoir, you could also go to nearby Pease Point Reservoir; unsurprisingly Dry Creek is a stunning stream that is worth visiting. Through the summer months highs here at Cresto Reservoir reach the 80's, and the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, frequently in the 40's. fall into the 0's. Dry warm beds await you at Dunton Hot Springs; Mavreeso Campground is a fine campground nearby. You should positively go to Pease Point if you're here at Cresto Reservoir; since you're here at Cresto Reservoir it's
a fine idea to visit Hooray Flats. Go for a hike on the Stoner Mesa Trail, and a spree to Mesa Verde National Park is recommended. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Cresto Reservoir. This lake is
so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Eagle Peak Trail is always a perfect adventure, and Cresto Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Don't leave Cresto Reservoir without
first going for a hike along the Spring Creek Trail, and don't leave Cresto Reservoir without first paying a visit to Pease Spring.

It contains 402 surfqace acres when full. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) and open for public fishing. Public access is from highway 184 on the north side of the lake. There is a boat ramp. Fishing is allowed from the bank or from hand powered or trolling motor powered boats only. The public access is maintained by the DOW. The only facilities present is a boat ramp and a pit toilet. No fires, swimming or overnight camping is allowed.... |
