Cresto Reservoir is ordinarily a pretty arid site; through March this area sees the most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Go for a hike on the Spring Creek Trail; some of the water close by flows, like Dry Creek. A tour to Mesa Verde National Park is worthwhile. Just can't get enough of Cresto Reservoir. Going for a hike on the Eagle Peak Trail is always a splendid adventure; if you need       a spot to stay Dunton Hot Springs is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Mavreeso Campground is a good place to camp, and you get a glorious panorama of Nipple Mountain from here. A glorious nearby hotel is Echo Basin Dude And Guest Ranch, LLC; Hooray Flats is a brilliant place here at Cresto Reservoir. There are wonderful spots to look at along the Stoner Mesa Trail, and get soaked paddling on Dolores River. Pease                  Point is an exciting place to have a look at while at Cresto Reservoir; a short journey to Cold Spring is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Bench Reservoir is a delightful lake in the vicinity of Cresto Reservoir; camping is available at West Dolores Campground. Summertime highs at Cresto Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 40's.
