Crescent Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Front Range. If you need a place to stay Bighorn Moutain Lodge is a wonderful choice; unsurprisingly West Fork Little Thompson River is a wonderful stream that is worth going to. So many exciting things in the Front Range, just fantastic. At Crescent Lake you can make out Moose Mountain, and the North Sheep Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best.

Visiting Rocky Mountain National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Saint Vrain Creek - North. Burnett Gulch which is beyond doubt worth a visit.
Crescent Lake is pretty dried up usually; during July this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Crescent Lake is
magnificent fun, Park Place Camping Resort is a magnificent local campground, and do take a hike on the Crosier Mountain Trail.
