    Why not stop by Crescent Lake if you're passing through these parts. At Crescent Lake you can catch a glimpse of Moose Mountain, and Longmont Reservoir is a wonderful lake close by. You'll meet a lot of folks from Fort Collins-Loveland here, and close by you come across the North Sheep Mountain Trail which is a good hiking trail. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Front Range. Why not have a look at close by West Fork Little Thompson River while you're  
   here at Crescent Lake; going for a hike on the Round Mountain Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Crescent Lake. A wonderful site to camp here at Crescent Lake is Park Place Camping Resort, and you can go for a hike on the Crosier Mountain Trail. After a long day outdoors Stone Mountain Lodge And Cabins is a brilliant site to spend a night or two; paddling on Saint Vrain Creek
 
               - North is so much fun. So many amusing things to do in the Front Range, not enough time. Bighorn Moutain Lodge is a perfect spot to get some rest, and a stunning lake like Button Rock Reservoir is a tremendous location to explore.
Throughout the warm months at Crescent Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Crescent Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent location to go to right next door to Crescent Lake is Burnett Gulch; Crescent Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Stone Mountain Lodge and RV Park is a splendid local campground. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. At Crescent Lake you don’t see much rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are magnificent sites to take a look at, and Rocky Mountain National Park is no exception, and Drummer Flat is a magnificent place to stretch your legs a bit.
