There are other locations here than Crescent Lake, for example Mackinaw Lake; on a nice day you can take a hike along the High Trail. Whitewater paddling is great on Grizzly Creek. There's so much to do here at Crescent Lake       that you need to camp here for a while, Sweetwater Lake Campground is a pleasant place for that. Crescent Lake is a location that is relatively arid regularly; the month with most of the snow is March while June is typically the driest month. Summertime at Crescent Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Crescent                  Lake are in the 0's. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sweetwater Creek; since you're here you can take a hike along the South Derby Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Sheep Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Crescent Lake, and the Ute Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
