Dry warm beds await you at Oak Tree Inn Yampa. Summer at Crescent Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Crescent Lake temperatures       sink to the 0's. Near Crescent Lake you find the South Derby Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and you can run the rapids of Grizzly Creek. One of the main characteristics of the surroundings of Crescent Lake is Sheep Mountain; going for a hike on the High Trail is always a fine adventure. Crescent Lake gets very little rainfall; most of the snow falls during March while June is frequently the driest month. Any time is a glorious time at Crescent Lake if                  you have a thing about the outdoors. Go for a hike on the Ute Trail, and Bucks Campground is a glorious local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
