All through the warm days of summer here at Crescent Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Crescent Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This       lake is so wonderful. Fraser Creek is a glorious local stream, and camping is available at Trappers Lake Campground. This place is so good, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the neighborhood of Crescent Lake. Amphitheatre is a wonderful location here at Crescent Lake, of course you could also visit Scotts Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. The South Derby Trail is a fine hiking trail near Crescent Lake; there are some great whitewater                  spots on Sweetwater Creek. Crescent Lake is a location that is reasonably dried out typically; October is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Looking for something next to Crescent Lake? Anderson Lake is in close proximity, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Oyster Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Trapline Campground is always a delightful experience.
