Crescent Lake is ordinarily a quite dried out spot; the month with most of the rain is August while June is usually the driest month. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Dry warm beds await you at Best Value High Country Lodge, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Fish Lake Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan Mountains. If the weather is       perfect here at Crescent Lake, you can go for a hike along the V Rock Trail; paddling on San Juan River - East Fork is so much fun. Man, is there a lot of fun things to do in the San Juan Mountains. Get soaked paddling on Navajo River, and some nearby water includes Castle Creek. You clearly must love the San Juan Mountains. Camping at The Last Resort RV Park and Campground is always a splendid experience; if you've had enough of Crescent Lake, Slesinger Reservoir                  is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The Leche Creek Trail is a great hiking trail near Crescent Lake; Crescent Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Blanco River Campground is a perfect local campground. For the duration of the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Crescent Lake; the night is rather chillier of course, generally in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Crescent Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Pagosa Springs, Co is a nice choice, and Slesinger Dam is a gorgeous place, unquestionably worth checking out.
