This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Blanco River Campground while you're here at Crescent Lake, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Navajo River. This place, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. You're almost certainly into lakes, Opal Lake is one of those close by; why not a little side tour to Castle Creek. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come       on down to Crescent Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Crescent Lake; Leche Creek Trail is a good local trail; there's whitewater on San Juan River - East Fork for all you adrenaline junkies. Through the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Crescent Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows at Crescent Lake through the wintertime mostly sink into the 0's.                  Very brilliant water scenery is available at Slesinger Dam in the neighborhood of Crescent Lake, and Acres Green RV Park is a pleasant local campground.
