What a nice lake Crescent Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Blanco River Campground while you're here at Crescent Lake, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Navajo River. This place, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. You're almost certainly into lakes, Opal Lake is one of those close by; why not a little side tour to Castle Creek. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come

Hiking is a popular thing to do around Crescent Lake; Leche Creek Trail is a good local trail; there's whitewater on San Juan River - East Fork for all you adrenaline junkies. Through the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Crescent Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows at Crescent Lake through the wintertime mostly sink into the 0's. | |

Very brilliant water scenery is available at Slesinger Dam in the neighborhood of Crescent Lake, and Acres Green RV Park is a pleasant local campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Fish Lake Trail, and if you need a location
to stay Holiday Inn Express Pagosa Springs, Co is a brilliant choice. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Slesinger Reservoir is in
the vicinity of Crescent Lake, and brilliant hiking is available along the V Rock Trail. Crescent Lake is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Oak Ridge Lodge is a nice place to get some
rest. Not much precipitation falls here at Crescent Lake; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is June.

San Juan River - East Fork
 | 11 miles away I am a very close relative of the land owners for a significant portion of the East Fork. There is a couple of miles of river that is private land. Using the river or the land without authorization is tresspassing and is illegal. I am by no means giving you permission to use it. I am simply stating the facts.
