If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Crescent Lake. Not much precipitation falls here at Crescent Lake; the month with most of the rain is August, and June is the month with the least moisture. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains will keep you coming back many times. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Navajo River, and hiking is a popular thing to

| | do around Crescent Lake; V Rock Trail is a delightful local trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Do stop by Slesinger Dam since you're here at Crescent Lake; Crescent Lake is not the only spot nearby, Opal Lake is a nearby lake.

to camp nearby. Crescent Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There are some great whitewater spots on San Juan River - East Fork, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Leche Creek Trail.
That right there
is plenty already, but it carries on; Crescent Lake has it all. Visit Castle Creek since you're here at Crescent Lake, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Oak Ridge Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of the year at Crescent
Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, typically in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Crescent Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Fish Lake Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Crescent Lake has to offer, you can camp at Acres Green RV Park.
