Going for a hike along the Killpecker Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Creedmoore Lakes is a nice spot to camp, Lost Lake Campground is a nice spot. Creedmoore Lakes is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Man, is there heaps of entertaining stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Cache La Poudre River - North Fork has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot       nearby; some of the water close by flows, like Cornelius Creek. For the period of the summer months here at Creedmoore Lakes, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Creedmoore Lakes are in the 0's. At Creedmoore Lakes you don’t see much precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the                  year is January. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Cache La Poudre River is so much fun; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the North Lone Pine Trail. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. While you're here at Creedmoore Lakes you can play some golf at Fox Acres Country Club, and Creedmore Lakes Campground is a splendid campground here. You absolutely must adore the Medicine Bow Mountains.
