The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Crawford Lake plunge into the 0's. On a good day at Crawford Lake you can take a hike along the Cascade Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Winter Park. Yeah, come here to Crawford Lake for a splendid time. If you're here, you might       as well go to Hell Canyon. The slopes of Berthoud Pass are so inviting noone can resist, and if you have time to spare, Rocky Mountain National Park is a national park worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Shelter Rock Campground; Cascade Creek is in the vicinity of Crawford Lake and is always a pleasure to check out. You completely should go for the Front Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we                  recommend Boulder Creek, and after a long day outdoors The Inn at Grand Lake is a good spot to spend a night or two. Crawford Lake gets very little rain; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Hiamovi Mountain is clearly visible from Crawford Lake. Lakes are perfect; Long Lake is a lake that's close to Crawford Lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Crawford Lake, too perfect to be true. There's whitewater on Fraser River for all you adrenaline kick people, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Gourd Lake Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Roaring Fork Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; not far from Crawford Lake you'll locate Round Lake which is a pretty lake. These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing things to do in the Front Range.
