Crater Lakes is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Crater Lakes; James Peak Lake Trail is a great local trail; skiing at Winter Park is one of those things you just must do. And if that's not enough there's lots more amusing stuff to do in the Front Range. Good hiking is available along the South Boulder Creek Trail, and Jenny Lake is a great lake nearby. This

You clearly must adore Crater Lakes. Lakes are such calm spots, why not have a look at Yankee Doodle Lake in the vicinity of Crater Lakes, and dry warm beds await you at Iron Horse Resort. Lodge is a good choice. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Buckingham Campground is a great campground nearby, and some nearby water includes Arapaho Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the
magnificent whitewater of Boulder Creek, and the King Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. Crater Lakes is a location that is relatively dehydrated ordinarily; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the
month with the least amount of precipitation. Just can't get enough of the Front Range. You get a fine view of Mount Epworth from Crater Lakes, and tremendous skiing awaits you at Berthoud Pass. Summertime highs at Crater Lakes regularly
tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 20's; night lows during the winter for Crater Lakes tend to be in the 0's.
