     Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Crater Lake is one of them. Lakes are fine; Little Molas Lake is a lake that's close to Crater Lake. North Twilight Peak can be spotted from Crater Lake; get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Lime Creek. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly into lakes, Andrews Lake is one of those close by, and you can hit the slopes at Kendall Mountain
 
   close at hand. This place, Crater Lake, it completely has so much outdoors fun stuff. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Silverton, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Deer Park Trail. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The San Juan and Jemez Mountains is great! The principal highlight in the region is the West Needle Mountains, and dry warm beds await you at Purgatory Lodge by Durango Mountain Resorts.
You just
 
               can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. Stay the night at Lime Creek Campground, and close by you find the Whitehead Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Highline Trail is always a nice adventure; Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel is a magnificent place to get some rest. Not much precipitation falls here at Crater Lake; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is June.
For the duration of the summer months at Crater Lake highs are commonly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Crater Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. There's so much to do here at Crater Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Purgatory Campground is a great place for that, and there's whitewater on Animas River for all you adrenaline junkies.
