What a nice lake Crater Lake is. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Near Crater Lake you find the Deer Park Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and the landscape is dominated by the West Needle Mountains. Gotta ski! Silverton is a fine site to do that, and you can go for a hike on the Highline Trail. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Crater Lake. There's whitewater

| | on Lime Creek for all you adrenaline people, and if you need a spot to stay Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel is a great choice. And that's not all the things you can do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Lakes? Sure, Andrews Lake is in the vicinity, and why not camp at Purgatory Campground while you're here at Crater Lake. the most, and the driest month of the year is June. Very stunning scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Kendall Mountain. There are other spots here than Crater Lake, for example Little Molas Lake, and Purgatory Lodge
by Durango Mountain Resorts is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Animas River, and the top of North Twilight Peak is easily seen
from Crater Lake. So many fun things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, just phenomenal. Camping is available at Lime Creek Campground, and going for a hike on the Whitehead Trail is always a good adventure. All through the
summertime months at Crater Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Crater Lake temperatures sink to the 0's.
