Crater Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Crater Lake is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. The Cascade Trail is a wonderful hiking trail right next door to Crater Lake, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Boulder Creek - South. Be careful coming to the Front Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again. The snow is fine at Winter Park; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Alpenglo Lodge.

| | problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boulder Creek, and do set aside some time for Wheeler Basin while you're here at Crater Lake. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are truly bountiful here at Crater Lake. A lake close by is Mirror Lake, and Fair Glacier is something you shouldn't miss since you're here. Lodge is a delightful location to spend a night or two.
That right there is a lot of cool things already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. A glorious site to check out near Crater Lake is Pawnee Pass; Crater Lake is
a glorious spot to camp, Pawnee Lake Campground is a glorious spot. Going for a hike on the Isabelle Glacier Trail is always a great adventure, and Crater Lake Campground is a great campground here. Crater Lake is a location that
is rather dried out generally; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is commonly the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby
Berthoud Pass, and the Indian Peaks towers over Crater Lake. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Front Range. The warmest time of the year at Crater Lake arrives with high temperatures in
the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Crater Lake are in the 0's.
So many exciting things near Crater Lake, clearly mind-boggling.
Near Crater Lake you find the Arapaho Pass Trail which is a great hiking trail, and naturally, all our national parks are good spots to check out and Rocky Mountain National Park is no exception.
