Drift down the rapids of Boulder Creek - South in a kayak, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Isabelle Glacier Trail. Camping at Crater Lake Campground is always a splendid experience, and if you want to take a look at some attention-grabbing stuff, take a look at Fair Glacier. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Crater Lake it's a glorious idea to stop at Wheeler Basin,       and the Arapaho Pass Trail offers hiking at its best. And if that's not enough there's plenty more entertaining things to do in the Front Range. You'll stumble on a pretty lake called Mirror Lake near Crater Lake; what would winter be without some skiing at Berthoud Pass. Just can't get enough of the Front Range. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Winter Park while you're here, and a splendid site to camp here at Crater Lake is Pawnee Lake                  Campground. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. After a long day outdoors Sawmill Station is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and if you're here, you could also visit beautiful Triangle Lake. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Front Range. If you need a site to stay Hi Country Haus is a perfect choice. Rocky Mountain National Park is a delightful local destination here at Crater Lake, and get soaked paddling on Boulder Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Cascade Trail, and you could always explore Pawnee Pass. Crater Lake is ordinarily a pretty dried out place; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is February. That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Crater Lake has it all. Crater Lake lays in the shadow of the Indian Peaks, and on a beautiful day you acquire a pleasant panorama of Mount Achonee from Crater Lake. Crater Lake is a beautiful lake in the Front Range. During the summertime months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Crater Lake; the overnight is rather cooler of course, mostly in the 40's.
