Lakes? Sure, Blair Lake is in the neighborhood, and if you need a place to stay Clarion Collection Glenwood Suites is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Oyster Lake Trail, and camping is available at Bison Lake Campground. High temperatures at Crater       Lake all through the warm months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's while Crater Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A quick tour to Park Creek in the vicinity of Crater Lake is a pleasant idea, and Blair Mountain is gorgeous and can be observed from here. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Get                  your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of White River - South Fork; hiking is a popular thing to do around Crater Lake; Fayville Trail is a perfect local trail. Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Sunlight Mountain, and why not camp at Supply Basin Campground while you're here at Crater Lake. Crater Lake is regularly a pretty dried out place; during October this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
